Our 1st Harvest from GCG Team 2025
Dave sharing 1st harvest of Red Leaf Lettuce with the kitchen at Residence on Lundy's Lane.
Those who have signed up to be committed to the garden project will enjoy our harvest first. Excess will be shared with the kitchen for meals at the Residence we are located at. We have also planted fresh herbs at the cooks request.
Our auxiliary garden will be used to give back to the community (see pic below) and will be shared with local community agencies who cook daily for those in need.
Our intention is to weigh our produce to glean information and utilize data for what will produce the best results. These results will be posted on our website after harvest.
2 accessible garden beds were installed with the help of residence and volunteers. Beds are 8' X 4' X 2'.
1 cubic square metre of garden soil was shovelled into two separate beds.
It was a hot one!
Planting of bed #2.

Many thanks to our neighbour for allowing us use for this sun-filled space.
Thanks to you too, honey. Your daily work on this garden means so much. It looks amazing.
BTW~Our first pumpkin patch has been installed and the seeds are up. I am so excited to use these for a fundraiser this fall to help pay for seeds and plants for our GCG Garden Project 2026. ~ Stay tuned to place your order October 2025.
